Climate Interactive recently featured four of its climate simulation tools that can be used by educators to engage students in learning about the climate system.
The C-Learn simulation is designed "to help users understand the long-term climate effects of various customized actions to reduce fossil fuel CO2 emissions, reduce deforestation, and grow more trees."
This web-based
simulation can be used to help your students evaluate various actions to mitigate
climate change.
The C-Learn simulation can also be used by students conducting Climate Interactive's World Climate Exercise, a role-playing exercise in which students negotiate a global agreement to mitigate climate
change. Teaching resources to accompany this activity can be found here.
